What if I told you there was a way to add layers to the Pretty Label Punch?
Today's project video includes an easy way to create borders on this, and any other decorative punch you own.
I paired the new Lemon Lime Twist In Color with Bermuda Bay. The pen image perfectly enhances the "Just a Note" greeting from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.
The scrolled frame around the greeting is from the Label Me Pretty stamp set. Don't forget, this stamp set comes as a Bundle, saving you 10%, and includes the Pretty Label Punch.
I had an "oops" while making this video for you and forgot to use the scrolled frame around the words. I show both cards, side by side and would love to know which one you like best. Leave me a comment.
I've included pictures of the card along with supplies and cutting dimensions below.
Who needs to hear from you? Send them "just a note".
Cutting Dimensions
- Bermuda Bay cardstock base is cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and folded in half
Curly label for me. What a great card and thanks for the tip about bordering the label.
Really <3 this card..I liked the bordering tip also...fussy cutting - well you know me. I liked both cards...
Hi Doris! So glad you like the card. Thanks for stopping by to chime in on your favorite. I appreciate the feedback!
Good morning, Helen! Fussy cutting for this is easy, I promise! Glad you enjoyed both versions. 😀 Happy 4th of July!
Curly label! Love this stamp set, thanks for the inspiration.
I love the curly label, too! It sure adds interest to the label, doesn’t it? Many others have suggested that the plain one is great for a masculine card, too. Thanks for stopping by, Cindy Jo!
I just watched your video and really liked your technique with the pretty punch. I also liked the card with the curly label as I think it gives more depth and color to the card by bringing out the Lemon Lime Twist color.
That’s what I thought, too, Kristy! Thanks for chiming in with your preference. I appreciate the feedback.
I prefer the curly label one.
Me, too, Kathy! Thanks for leaving me a comment with your preference. Thanks, too, for stopping by! Happy 4th of July!
I like the card with the curly label best. You are really making me want to use Lemon Lime Twist paper and ink. It works well with more colors than I first thought. Thank you, Lisa; you’re simply the best.
Hi Loretta! I like the card with the curly label best, too. The new Lemon Lime Twist is a huge favorite of mine. It coordinates so beautifully. I swore I’d hate it but I am totally in love with it. You won’t be disappointed should you choose to purchase it. Thanks for stopping by. It’s always nice to ‘see you’ here.
