Every year I try o guesstimate which stamp sets will be on the 'chopping block' (aka "retired"). It never fails. No matter how good I think my guesses are, there's always a few that are surprises.
I thought 'for sure' that the "Work of Art" stamp set would be retiring, but I was surprised…and delighted that it's not. I created this card for my Bloomin' Bingo a few weeks ago. This card was inspired by Sandi Hartka. Aren't the colors great?
The swish image is a fantastic part of the Work of Art stamp set. I've stamped it in Soft Sky, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz. The greeting is also part of the stamp set and the "just for" is a separate set allowing you to customize your card.
The flower is from the Choose Happiness stamp set which is being retired. I showcased a card using this same flower yesterday. If you missed yesterday's blog post you can view it HERE. The stem is from Crazy About You which I stamped it in Old Olive ink.
The flower is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink and used a Sponge Dauber to color it in then fussy cut the image. The pearl accents on this card compliment the white card base nicely, don't you think?
