Sale-A-Bration is drawing to a close on March 31st and I'm pretty sure you'll want to snag this free stamp set before the sale is over. Isn't this little chick adorable? Oh, and who said it had to be used for Easter?
I've paired this image with the "Oh, Hello" greeting that is included in this stamp set but wouldn't this be an adorable baby card, too?
I cut an additional piece of Whisper White cardstock so I could attach the designer paper and the black cardstock to it. That extra piece/panel gave the front layer of this card the extra thickness it needed. The designer paper is cut 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" and the Basic Black cardstock is cut 1" x 3 1/4".
I told you this little chick was cute! I stamped him in Basic Black Archival Ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock. This eliminated my need to color all of him in. I used the Tangelo Twist marker to color in his beak and his feet. And, yes, I did fussy cut him but it wasn't bad at all – not even those adorable little chicken feet!
The bow paper clips are both adorable and functional. They have a metal clip backing making them easy to attach. I cut 4" of Daffodil Delight ribbon and tucked it between the clip and the designer paper so no adhesive was necessary.
Who do you need to send a hand stamped "Oh Hello" card to?
