Crinkled. Crumbled. Scrunched. Smooshed.
No matter what you call it, that's how I created the flower on the front of this card.
I started with the White Filter Paper. Think 'tissue paper' with the strength of cardstock. This stuff is a blast to use. You can sponge, dye, ink, stamp or punch it.
I used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and punched out a total of 8 images – layering the Filter Paper in stacks of 4 and punched them all at once. The beauty of this paper is that it's thin enough to punch numerous sheets at once – saving you time.
I stacked them up on my Pierce Mat, pieced a hole, inserted a mini brad and began crinkling, crumbling, scrunching, smooshing (from the center out) until I got this pretty flower!
I added the Lovely Lace embossing folder, two border punched pieces and I spritzed the entire card with the Vanilla Smooch Spritz – just because I could! I love sparkle!
