Alright, so cut me some slack…it IS a corny title!
But it IS a goose!
I used the Wetlands stamp set to create this masculine birthday card.
Thanks to JayDee for the idea!
I created a "mask" for the goose so that the grass would appear to be in the background.
To do this:
- Stamp the goose on a post-it-note, cut it out on the stamped outlines.
- Stamp your goose on cardstock, cover him with the "mask" then stamp the grass.
- When you remove the 'mask" your goose will be 'unmarked' and the grass will appear as a background.
- I save all the post-it-note masks I make by sticking them to the inside of the stamp box. You'll only have to make them once, making repeated stamping so much faster.
I stamped the image in Jet Black Staz On on a 3" circle cut from the Circles Collection Framelits. I colored it in with a little Crumb Cake ink and my Aqua Painter and mounted it on Dimensionals.
It's a clean, easy card and certainly one that could embody any greeting.
LOL… your title is very fun and catchy!!
Your card is awesome!
Thanks for the great masking tips!!

I couldn’t resist the title…! Can you tell that I have two, small, great nephews that I adore?! Yep, we play Duck, Duck, Goose, too! 😀
