I've cut more cardstock in the last 5 days than I can ever remember cutting. And, for good reason!
Next Saturday is my first all day crafting retreat! I have 19 excited ladies attending and I can not wait!
The entire event is centered around "Spring". I have 6 make & takes, a BOGO (buy one, get one) sale, a Blossom Badge contest (we've asked everyone to make their own name tag and they will judge a winner for a prize) and I have some 'surprises' in store as well.
Thursday night's scrapbook class attendees created this layout (plus two others).
In 2 hours, 11 people created 66 pages!
We have SO MUCH FUN! We stamp, laugh and eat far too much chocolate and we're productive while doing it.

I carried a spring motif into this layout by using the Sale-A-Bration designer paper, Sweet Sorbet (which I will sorely miss after March 31st!), the Flower Shop and Petite Petals Bundles.
I created the lattice background by die cutting the Bigz Lattice Die from cardstock and sponging over it with Pool Party ink.
And, of course, no flowers are complete without a little 'bling' in the center!
