Baby Wipe Swipe Technique Tutorial

I'm gearing up for one of my largest events tomorrow - my Crafting at the Lodge Spring Retreat!

This retreat theme is "Western" and I've rented a 10' U-Haul truck to transport the decor (on loan from a sweet  friend - thanks, Kellie!) and stamping supplies to our retreat location.  My retreat is a 10 hour day of pampering, inspiration, stamping, prizes, games and fabulous home cooked meals!

I'll be sharing pictures soon!  Check out my Project PDF Tutorial library for some of the fabulous projects my customers are making!

Today's tutorial includes a fun technique called "Baby Wipe Swipe".  Ohhh, that's a mouthful!

I've included the directions below for those of you on a mobile device. I also included a PDF tutorial if you'd like to save the directions for future use.

Enjoy and happy Friday - I'm off to pack the U-Haul truck!

I love creating 3D projects. I enjoy them just as much as I do creating hand stamped cards.  I especially like that I can create themed projects for parties or holidays that are one-of-a-kind.

Today's video tutorial uses the Basket Bunch Bundle. If you missed it, this Bundle was part of my Studio Stamps in the Mail (SSITM) this month.  Although ordering for this month's SSITM has ended, the tutorial for the cards are available in my Project PDF Tutorial library HERE.

I'm having so much fun with this Bundle because the images and verbiage are versatile.  Photopolymer images make them easy to stamp, and, coupled with coordinating framelits for every image, you'll never fussy cut anything!

Today's video will also teach you a new way to create a bow.  I call it a "tuxedo bow".  With this bow, you'll never have to worry about it being too big, having uneven loops or being lop-sided.

Be sure to scroll down and see the pictures, cutting dimensions and supplies I've included for this project.

Succulents are Boo's favorite plants. She has several in her bedroom and they require little care. In her case - almost no care!

Although she hasn't stamped much lately, she does take time to look at each new catalog when it's released.  When the Oh So Succulent Bundle was introduced in the Occasions Catalog she urged me to get it.

And for good reason. Have you seen some of the amazing 3D projects on Pinterest?!  Oh my!  You can create plants that look just like the real thing.  No watering, transplanting or sunshine required!

Today's tutorial uses the Oh So Succulent Bundle (30 piece photopolymer stamp set and coordinating framelits). It's paired here with its coordinating designer paper and a little heat embossing for realism.

I've placed the tutorial below for those of you on a mobile device.  I also have a PDF tutorial available if you'd like to download it and save it for future inspiration.

Happy Friday everyone!
