You may know Gina as "Boo" because of her "Paper Pumpkin with Boo" monthly videos.
She's had this nickname since she was an infant because she cried – A LOT. She was colicky for 3 solid months. Bob the Builder and I tried every remedy known to man; taking her for car rides, putting the car seat on the dryer (with supervision, of course!) and we even ran the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner worked pretty well…for a while. So well, in fact, that Bob the Builder taped the sound on a cassette (if you're young, you probably have no idea what that is!) so we didn't burn up the vacuum cleaner. When that wore off we found that long walks in her stroller seemed to help. Let's face it. If you've had a colicky baby, you're willing to try anything to soothe them.
Fast forward 21+ years and we have a beautiful, talented, witty and compassionate daughter. The irony of her nickname is that she's not overly emotional as an adult. She takes life in stride and insists that tears are reserved for those really "necessary" times in life.
Today's card is one Boo came up with on her own. I loved the layout and decided to share it with you. I've included still pictures and cutting dimensions after the video.
